Effective Date: December 12, 2025
1. Introduction
Verve Browser (hereinafter referred to as "this Application") is developed by Highcredit Nigeria Limited (hereinafter referred to as "we"). We are committed to providing users with secure and efficient web browsing services. We attach great importance to user privacy protection and strictly comply with the Google Play Developer Policies, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and relevant regional privacy laws and regulations.
This Privacy Policy is intended to clearly inform you about how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information, as well as the rights you have regarding your personal information and how to exercise control over it. By using this Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any terms of this Policy, please do not use this Application.
We may adjust this Policy in accordance with functional updates or changes in laws and regulations. The updated Policy will be published on the "Settings - Privacy Policy" page within the Application, and the "Last Updated Date" will be revised accordingly. If the updated content involves changes to core privacy rights and interests (such as expansion of the scope of information collection or modification of the purpose of use), we will notify you via an in-application pop-up. Your continued use of this Application will be deemed as acceptance of the revised Policy.
2. Types and Methods of Information Collected
We adhere to the principle of "collecting only what is necessary" when gathering information. All information collection is for the purpose of ensuring the normal operation of functions or meeting your personalized needs, as detailed below:
2.1 Necessary Information (No Additional Authorization Required)
To ensure the normal operation of the basic functions of the browser, we only collect the following necessary information, which does not include content that can directly identify an individual:
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, Android ID (an identifier that cannot be used to identify an individual), browser kernel version, network type (Wi-Fi/mobile data), and device screen resolution;
Purpose: To adapt to different device environments, fix technical faults, optimize service stability, and ensure smooth operation of browsing functions.
- Basic Browsing Data: Webpage loading status, visited domain names, page response time, and crash logs;
Purpose: To analyze performance issues, improve webpage loading speed, and enhance compatibility.
2.2 Optional Information (Requires Your Active Authorization)
If you choose to use the following extended functions, we may collect corresponding information. You can disable authorization at any time in "Application Settings - Privacy Permissions", and disabling authorization will not affect the basic browsing functions:
- Bookmarks and Browsing History: By default, they are only stored on your local device; you can access and manage them by binding an account, and we cannot decrypt or view this information.
- Search History: Generated only when you use the built-in search function of the Application. By default, it is saved locally and can be manually deleted.
- Download and Cache Data: Downloaded files and webpage caches (such as images and scripts) generated during browsing are only stored on your local device. We will not actively upload this data, and you can delete it at any time.
2.3 Third-Party Information Collection
This Application may integrate third-party tools/services that have passed compliance certification. Third parties may collect a small amount of information based on service needs, as detailed below (third-party behaviors are subject to their own privacy policies):
- Third-Party Plugins/Extensions: This Application supports the installation of browser plugins that comply with Google Play regulations. The information collection behavior of plugins is the sole responsibility of the plugin developers and has no connection with this Application. It is recommended that you read the plugin's privacy policy before installation.
We have required all cooperating third parties to strictly protect user information security and prohibit them from using the collected information for purposes unrelated to the services.
3. Purposes of Information Use
We only use the collected information within the scope of the following legitimate purposes and will not use it for purposes other than those stated in this Policy. Without your explicit consent, we will not arbitrarily expand the scope of use:
